1. The Apple II:
No iconic company can be talked upon without its first iconic product. The same goes with Apple. Its iconic computer -The Apple II was introduced in June 1977 for sale and was it was the first PC that was designed to function out-of-the-box, so it could be used by anyone,and not just computer geeks.The brain behind this initiative was Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, with Steve Jobs handling the marketing responsibility for sale. It had a 1MHz 6502 processor and just 4KB of RAM, and for loading programs into it, it was integrated with a cassette interface.
It was in demand, until the introduction of Macintosh in 1984. Apple II was designed to program with a Basic language incorporated version, and was proficient of showing colour and graphics.
Dissimilar to the recent technology products of Apple, Apple II devices were designed to be elevated with adapter cards (through plug-in). This was the basic reason, why it held on working for so long in the market in competition to Microsoft.
2. iPhone:
The most vibrant, commercial, and with highest no. of sales product of Apple. You can see its effect with the fact that its launch was international news. The iPhone creation has been termed as the best in launch timing of any tech product. Apple saw an opportunity for a smart-phone and introduced the iPhone at just the right time. The iPhone was disclosed and unveiled in January 2007 a mid so much of speculation and expectance, and it has since then delivered on its promise with the followed iPhone versions too. The iPhone was basically a mobile phone, music player, internet browsing device, all integrated into one.
The release propelled many other phone manufacturers like Samsung, Nokia, RIM and Motorola to jump into the trend and the bandwagon. There are many Smartphone categories and devices in the market, but one has equalled the status that iPhone enjoys till today, since the day it came in people’s hands.
3. iPod:
The best music device after the Sony’s Walkman. It was the product that helped Apple come out of the PC production block and launch into a serious and commercial Tech Device product manufacturer. It was the company's incursion into the digital music world with the player.It empowered Apple to become a worldwide-dynamo.
Jobs had described that they were launching into the music business, with its launch, and even Jobs would have expected this widespread success with this player. It reformed the way people were enjoying their on-the-move music. It offered up to 1,000 songs storage on the device in a device built with a size of a cigarette lighter. It had a 1.8 in hard drive with capacity of 5 GB. It was a feat that had never before been accomplished.The iPod was also the first music player to come with a decent battery life, promising 10 hours of continuous playback.
Apple still sells millions of iPods every quarter, despite its being over 10 years old. There have a number of iterations, including the iPod Mini, Nano and Shuffle, and the iPod Touch which inspired the design for the iPhone.
4. Mac OS X:
This was the 10th version of Apple's exclusive Mac OS X operating system.It was developed on Unix and integrated technology built at Next Mac OS X is recognized as the main commercial and viable competitor to the Microsoft Windows domination in the operating system market, which was an extraordinary accomplishment since it was not registered out.In Apple’s Mac OS series, every version has been termed after a big cat. The latest in the series is OS X Lion, and it completely changed the people-desktop interaction mode. This OS program comprises a number of motion-based characteristics, and incorporates Apple's iOS extraordinary interface, which makes it look accustomed to iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
5. iPad:
The iPhone augmented the development of the hand-held calling devices to work more than just a mobile phone, with integration of more computer like features that people can use on the move. With the enhancement of mobile phone devices, to Smartphones, came the advent of tablets, that were a building and in-between bridge between a phone and a PC.
This revolution in tech was also initiated by Apple, with the introduction of iPad that packed all the basic PC features with internet browsing functionality, while being on just a user’s hands. The iPad fundamentally shaped an completely new product class centered around a factor that people were just awed by this maverick, and most were unsure of its usage in their life.
If you own an Apple product, then you are surely a part of this biggest revolutionizing tech industry.And if you are not, then you must be someone who would certainly love to have one Apple device in your hand (who does not?). But I recommend that once in a lifetime, move ahead of Microsoft,Nokia and Samsung, and grab an Apple device and you will see what you have been missing out till date.
