Things Nokia Learned From its Past Mistakes

If we look in past, there is no doubt that Nokia was the leading brand in Mobile communication. Nokia is thought to be the most reliable company in the world. Because hardware and software (Not sure about software) is said to be the most amazing. There was a saying at that time if you have bought a Nokia phone then you don’t need to worry about its problems because it’s pretty well known that Nokia hardware rarely got any trouble. 

Nokia was doing well with its Symbian OS but there come Android, And Nokia’s Symbian OS just become that past. Because the freeness of android gets attention of users and that moment was the luckiest moment for Samsung. Nokia lose his grip and Samsung did his part. So if we look at the past of Nokia we will find its OS as one of the biggest reason of its failure. 

But now again Nokia is again back in the smartphone market with its amazing Lumia series. Here raise serious questions.

• Why Nokia adopt Windows OS???? Why Not Symbian Again???

Nokia finds out that you can serious development on software as well as hardware. So here is the deal grab an OS which is managed and maintained by other big company. So they adopt the biggest rival of Android, The Windows 8 Mobile OS by Microsoft. Microsoft can do anything to Get their windows OS on the top. So the rest part which is hardware, he is already very good in building a smart design. 

With a great functioning of windows phones Nokia is doing quite good in the smartphone market. Its whole Nokia Lumia series (920, 820, 720, 620 and 520) have won a lot of attention from smartphone users. Nokia launched these phones with coloured back panel. Now Nokia 925 is again doing awesome. Its metallic design is eye catching. 

As I earlier said that Nokia is best in developing hardware so Nokia is the first to get wireless charging concept so don’t need those messy wired thing. Just place your phone on the charger and your phone charging will be started and also you can connect your phone with speakers in the same manner. You just put your phone on the speaker and speaker start playing your song, how cool is that. On the other hand we can say that Nokia is trying desperately to get again in the smartphone market.

• Why Nokia didn't adopt Android???

It was said that Nokia’s OS developer team is not in the favour of getting Android as its phone OS. But suppose what if Nokia would have used Android as its phone OS. Then we can clearly say that there must be a different position of Nokia in the Market as compared to its current position.

Conclusion: - Nokia has learned that you can’t make software and hardware. Focus on one thing let any other reputed company to handle the other thing. Like Microsoft is developing windows OS and taking it to next level and using this Microsoft OS Nokia is also making great smartphone. Each and every smart phone in Nokia Lumia series is awesome. So Nokia has learned what they have to do to survive in the smartphone market competition and also Samsung and HTC are also building phones with windows OS but still they are far behind in the race with Nokia Lumia Series.
