How To Set Different Setting For Every App in Android Device

As we know that when we install apps on an android device then the core features or we can say setting is same for each and every app in the Android device. Sometimes there are resources which you don't even required but still there are available for you and some features that are required are not available.

e.g. if you are working with map only then you required a GPS. When you will be working on an app that require a GPS you will turn it ON but after finishing if you turned that off then its cool but if not then it will be available for each and every app and if you are planning to watch a video so obviously you will watch it in the landscape mode. So whenever you start watching a video these setting should be on for you.

But in traditional android device you can do that. If a setting is changed then it will be changed for each and every app. you can set setting for different app individually. So these is a lot of waste of resources. this may lead to following problems.

There will be 2 disadvantages of this situation:-

Memory/ Battery wastage:- you don't need a resource of your android device but it is available so your system memory will be used without any sense and battery life will decrease.

Performance:- if you are using a high weight Application that required a tons of processing like a game then obviously these extra programs will reduce your device speed.

But there is one solution with that you can make this happen. you can change setting for every individual app. APP OVERRIDE is an application that will help you in this matter. when you will launch this application then you will see all of your installed apps in the list. if provides you a number of settings shown in the list.

  • Font size
  • Input method
  • Maximum CPU Speed
  • Minimum CPU Speed
  • Orientation
  • Screen Timeout
  • Sound Mode
  • Wifi

Just keep one thing in mind that some of these settings required root access. Not every app needs the access some apps can work without root access but some of them strongly needs the access like CPU Speed etc. on the other hand rooting will give you a lots of benefits. Like it will let you change the CPU clock speed and also you can change a lot of unimaginable things by rooting.

if you want to make changes then you can do it by tapping on the app and then an popup will be opened and after that popup you can make any change that you are willing to do. when you are done with the setting you will see no change had been made in your setting so to make changes you need to set the OFF option to ON(Upper Left corner of your app) and all the settings will be over-ride. App Override is compatible with any device running Android 2.3 or newer. However, being an early beta release.
