Having something
secrete and you cannot let this for free to view, like your secrete notes, docs
or such file that contains your personal diary, information or list of
passwords etc that you want to keep private and safe. iOS devices like iPad,
iPhone and Mac OS users, here is an intelligent way to do this.
You can now
protect the Docs and text file with password and encrypt them with various
methods like DES and XOR encryption and you are then easily able to share them
online via E-Mail or on cloud.
You can Do it easily with features apps Password
Pad Lite which is available in free as well as paid version. Password
Pad Lite support XOR encryption. The paid version of the Password Pad is available
in $ 4.99 and this support tripal DES encryption. You can also choose the
one of the lite version of the Password
Pad for $ 1.99 for mobile version.
If you are
using Mac, Password Pad lite is just as the text editor,
Before
creating any file on the device with Password pad lite, you will be asked to
supply the password and confirm the password and continue.
On your
iPhone, you can do it in same way but this app has some limitation too
On your
iPhone, it will not rotate with screen, and you are just away to use the wider
keyboard for better writing. Also you are not given plugins for modifying the
font style and formatting the texts.
Just open the
apps in your iPhone,
Tap the ‘+’
button on upper right side of the screen to create new Document.
After you
have created the document, you can save it than.
Important!
You have to
save the document before you upload it or sync with your devices or cloud like
iCloud or Drop box etc.
One thing
more you can’t sync the file between your iOS device directly, you have to do
in cloud way.
Select the
file from the list and move it to the cloud and there you can download it on
another device.
Along with
this, apps allow you to change the password, discard the changes, search and
find text etc.
In Mac
devices you will get some of the formatting option too.
