Hello!!
Anyone looking for amazing android application using which you can convert your Android Smartphone into simple then get ready roll. Your mobile phone is not a phone anymore, it’s a digital camera, a gaming console, a GPS navigation device, a music player, an e-book read, a file storage device, an alarm clock and lot’s more all rolled into one convenient device.
However some people don’t want these function on their phone. Especially senior peoples want their phone to be easy to handle as they are interested in just making phone calls and text messages. Young generation says that they need apps badly on the other hand old generation says they not need these app and satisfied with phone calls and text messages.
Some mobile companies do offer cell phones optimized for seniors. But I found an amazing application on Google Play named as Phonotto. This is a free app that will convert any Android “smartphone” into a “simple phone” hiding all the complexities and apps from the user. The following screenshots will give you a better idea.
The Phonotto app adds a new layer on your Android phone giving quick access to essential phone functions and hides all the apps and other smartphone features in the background. The app provides a user interface with larger buttons and bigger fonts which is more accessible to the seniors. The app can be configured to auto-start at boot time so it is always available.
How to get back to regular Android screen???
Just press the ‘Home’ button. This will hide the Phonotto app UI.

This is pretty interesting but I dont know why anyone would pay the money for a phone like the android to then get it simplified. I am currently searching for a cellphone for my grandmother and I came across this while looking up simple cellphones. Has anyone tried this?? I was planning on going with the senior value cellphone with tracfone because I can get it for like 15 dollars at KMART. Its basically the samsungt155 and its simple and basic. Big keys that are lit its supposedly seven dollars a month.. ( still need to make sure thats right. ) But I mean wouldn't that sound smarter?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe that you could ever get the simplicity that one gets with the Samsung T155g with any smart phone. Older people get confused about technology and my mom is terrified of it. With the T155g it is very basic and simple and she feels at ease using it. The SVC plan costs $20 for ninety days so that does amount to just under $7 a month. Good value
