We are  in 2012 so as per our knowledge there happened a lot of technology events in 2011 some are good and some are worse so here i am with a list of 20 events of 2011 which will always be remembered.by us. here events happened in Google,Microsoft,Apple,Twitter, Facebook the top social networking web sites.

Following are the 20 event that have happens in the 2011 Grouped by their Companies.

Google:

1. Google+ is introduces:  Google is trying to be in social medial from a lot of time  with its Orkut and Buzz but every time it got only failure but this time Google come with totally different concept known as Google+. although this is better then Orkut and BUZZ but still behind from other social networking sites.Still it is far away from Social networking.

2. Google Services Redesign: Google Started Redesigning of its applications in mid of 2011 and till the end of 2012 it has redesigned its all services such as Bloggers, Google, Adword, Youtube, Google+, Gmail, Analytics, Adsence etc. and Also improves the technology used behind that or we can see the best use of Ajax.

3. Android Most used OS: In year 2011 android become the Most used Os in the World .Most of the smart-phone today are with this OS. This is the Only OS who dare challenge Apple OS IOS but it also have a violation when it was adopted by Google. it explained next.    

4. Oracle suing Google:WE all know about The Google's Mobile OS Android. it is written in Java owned by Oracle as Soon as Google launched Android Oracle slammed Google by patent violation of JAVA but this mater is Now Resolved..

5. Apple CEO Steve Jobs Died:  The saddest event in 2011; Steven Paul Jobs was the CEO and godfather of Apple Inc. This well-known American businessman died on October 5, 2011. He is identified as the pioneer of personal computer revolution and best remembered for iPod and iPad devices. 

6. Apple Iphone4s Launched:  Every one is looking for apple Iphne5 but at the dead line apple gives a shock to every one and provide an Phone to which we can call extension of Iphone4. People were expecting some thing different but still it gives them a lot of satisfaction but Apple keeps the faith of peoples  and launches it with a lot of New features such as SIRI. 

7. Apple Ipad2: Apple launches Ipad2 with great and amazing features such as With a greater camera Support and IOS 5 which is the latest OS of the Apple.

8. Apple vs Samsung court battle: On 18 April, 2011, Two lagest rivels of the It industry got head to head in court. Apple Blaimed smasung for coping its products Iphone, Ipod and Ipad devices as a result of Samsung was banned in 9 countries which includes Europian countries and australia.

9. Microsoft's Mango: After the Success of Steve Job's Apple microsoft comes with Mango actully Mango is Microsoft's Touch Mobile Phone OS. And Microsoft Ited up with different Compainies to Bring this OS in the MArket such as Nokia,Samsung etc. ANd Also Created Some Amazing Phones Lumia 800. etc     

10.Microsoft Windows 8 Developers View: Windows Comes with ITs developers View which might be counted as the Glorious Discobery of Microsoft. Although this was the developers view but it makes many people crazy by launcing its amazing Features.

11. Skype purchased by Microsoft: Microsoft purchased Skype for a whopping $8.56 billion. Skype is by far the best VOIP service with a reach of over 124 million per year. With Skype, Microsoft is looking to challenge Google and Apple in the mobile platform arena. Probably the biggest reason for Microsoft to buy Skype is Windows Phone 7 (Mobile OS) and Nokia.

12. Facebook Time-Line: facebook 2nd time changes its preview and Launches the Time-line and this looks amazing.and it launches the Facebook Time Line which is really amazing. 

13. Aakash tablet launch: This might be think as the greatest event of 2011 because Aakash tablet was announced to be launched.This might be the cheapest tab in the World. it costs only 35$ having (Froyo) OS, 366Mhz Atom processor, 256Mb RAM, Wi-fi etc and comes with more than 15k pre-installed apps and second version of akash tablet is Under construction and it  is with android 2.3, With 700 mhz processors and many more.it might launche in late Jan 2012

 14. Death of Dennis Ritchie:  After Steve Jobs there is  another tragic event took place in 2011 when a great American computer scientist, Dennis Richie died on October 12, 2011.Many of us doesn't even know about his because he didn't get that much media coverage as Steve Jobs but he was also the Man Of 2011. He was the developer of Unix os and We can also call him the Father of Great programing Language C.       

15. Twitter Relaunch: A famous Social networking Sites Twitter Makes Some Major Changers Such as change in its Tweet button and Now we can follow any site by Tweet button same as Facebook 'Like' Button and Twitter also include its photo sharing service for sharing Photos and Application. 

16. Nokia loosen the Top Spot: Nokia is assumed to ve the King of the Smartphone Market but 2011 was not so good Nokia Because Smartphone Market is now RUled by samsung This is really bad for Nokia but Nokia is fighting for its place and also brings some new phones with Microsoft.

17. Netflix and its indecision:  October saw Netflix was emerging as one of the top DVD rental and movie streaming sites, with around 20 million subscribers. However, its decisions to split the business into NetFlix for streaming and Qwickster for renting DVDs; and to double the rates of its services caused an outcry among its customers. By the time the company revoked its decision in the same month, it had lost around 800,000 customers, as revealed during its earning calls.

18. RIM’s migraines: RIM suffered a lot of problems this year with its newly released “Playbook” tablet not making as many sells as hoped, and the sold playbooks facing the need to be recalled due to a problem in the device’s software. Moreover, the company’s music sharing software was made belittled, while the company’s largest network outage caused its market share in the US to shrink, and the company’s website was hacked after it offered its co-operation with the UK government in the aftermath of the riots and havoc in London.

19. HP's management turmoil:From a management perspective, 2011 was a disaster for HP, with the appointment of Leo Apoteker's appointment in October 2010 having taken place without most Board members interviewing, then his mid-year announcement of HP's acquisition of Autonomy and its plans to explore the spin-off of its PCS divisions, to Apoteker's forced resignation and replacement by Meg Whitman.  HP has a long and difficult road to recover from its self-inflicted wounds, at a time when its core PC division was under assault from Apple. 

20. Launch Of Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich: Android 4.0 is the latest entrant in the Android family...possibly the most impressive too. Android 4.0 is fondly called the next step for the mobile operating system. The new Android offers a lot of impressive features that will give smartphone buyers reasons to upgrade to this one. Android is already dominating half of the world in terms of smartphones. With Ice Cream Sandwich, Google aims to touch new heights. The new features of Android 4.0 have forced the smartphone makers to switch to this one. Samsung's Galaxy Nexus is the first device to come with Ice Cream Sandwich.
