Which website is dominating the world?? Most of the people say it’s either Google or Facebook. We wanted to see the whole picture, so we’ve made a map of #1 websites around the world. This map is created by a website-visualization firm Webempires.
This world map represents the most popular websites by country. Results are not surprising me. In USA and India Google is dominating. Yahoo is still the most visited website in Japan and Congo while Baidu is the Google of China in every sense. Not only Yahoo.co.jp is #1 in Japan, it’s also ranking #15 in the entire world. Japanese really love Yahoo. Yandex is big surprise for me, It is a Russian search engine. Yandex taking a very strong position in Russia and lighting up a good portion of the world map
